Flooding

Our association has requested of Alabama Power Company, and they have agreed, to run models to determine the minimum drop required below Minnesota Bend to reduce flooding north of Minnesota Bend based on various flooding conditions at Gadsden or points north.  The intent is to determine and use the minimum drop necessary to reduce flooding to the north of Minnesota Bend and keep water as high as feasible below Minnesota Bend.
