Activities
We have removed 174 tons of litter from our lake in the past 4 years.
We have an annual cleanup week in conjunction with Alabama Power Company, Keep Etowah Beautiful, the municipalities of Gadsden, Hokes Bluff, Glencoe, Rainbow City, Southside, Ohatchee, Ragland and the counties of Etowah, Calhoun and St. Clair.
This clean up is well organized and has received a National Award from Keep America Beautiful.
